SCENE SCENARIOS

These printable 47 scene scenarios for High School students provide short plots / scenarios for students to create their own plays off either in duologues or small groups. These scene scenarios can also be used for improvisation games as improv starters.  Some of the scenarios also deal with teenage issues such as bullying and peer group pressure etc.

If you're like me, some days you just can't think of creative scene prompts or ideas for your drama or theatre class games and activities. Have some instant scene scenarios at hand and use them as part of a planned lesson or leave them for a substitute lesson.

Example scene scenarios:

  • A group lost in the desert keeps seeing mirages as they search for water to stay alive. The group discussed what they are going to do and reflect on their lives.
  • Friends stage an intervention for another friend who they think is going down the wrong path with choices they are making.
  • A student is caught cheating on an exam by another student and tries desperately to convince them not to tell the teacher.
  • Two people meet in person for the first time after talking online to each other and are surprised when the other person is not who they pretended to be.
